Altar Flowers Thank you to Jill Allen who gave the flowers in honor of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW). If you would like to donate flowers in honor or memory of someone or just because, contact Ruby Atchison or Chris Umstead.

Sunday School Schedule/Teachers Wanted! Pre-school and elementary school have Sunday school during the 9:30 service. (We hope to offer this during the 11:11 one day, too.) Middle and High School meet between the services. Teachers are needed for both! Contact Casey Bober or John Gibson if interested in teaching!

Spiritual Resources

New Forward Day by Day Available The November - January issue is on the lobby welcome table. This devotional is a great way to grow spiritually. A suggested donation of $1 is asked.

Caminando with Jesus Each week, at the front of the service booklet after "Opportunities to Serve," is a reflection written by a different lay or clergy person in the diocese on Sunday's Gospel text. Caminando, which means "walking" in Spanish, is designed to strengthen your walk with Jesus.

Gratitude Journals One of the best ways that we learned during our sermon series "How to Stay Positive in Challenging Times" is writing what we're thankful for once a week. A Gratitude Journal with tips on what and how to write is available in the lobby.

Bible Verses for Positive Thinking and Strength During Hard Times These verses help to focus on the positive in our negative world and to find strength during challenging times.

"This Fragile Earth" The North Carolina Disciple The Spring 2019 issue of the quarterly diocesan publication was devoted to caring for the gift of God's creation. This Fragile Earth offers important insights about creation ministries in our diocese and tips for how each of us can be better stewards of our beautiful earth.
